Hello, I’m Daveion the new dog trainer at BreedAbove. I’m an Air Force Veteran, serving almost 7 years as a security forces member. After 2 years of service, I was able to start applying to be a K9 handler for the Air Force, and the first step was to learn from the handlers at your base. I trained, deployed, and worked with the K-9 unit for the rest of my time in service. A deployment to South Korea kept me from the Air Force K9 unit and I chose to look for opportunities on the civilian side rather than extending my service. After my service, I worked at Global K9 Protection Group. There I became a certified explosive detection dog handler and trainer. Dog training is more than just training. It’s mediation, it’s listening as well as speaking, and most of all it’s learning. The bond that only grows through time. My only goal is to help you and your dog properly communicate with lots of love, and passion.
